Personal Profile

Molly Marie Schneider was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan and currently lives in Detroit, Michigan. In 2018 she moved to San Francisco where she pursued a fine arts education at the San Francisco Art Institute. In 2020, she moved to Chicago, Illinois and earned her BFA at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Molly combines her mixed media abstract painting with experimental techniques on makeup and cosmetics. Recent exhibitions and curatorial projects include: SFAI - San Francisco, CA; The Izzy Building - Detroit, MI; ZAZ Corner - New York, NY; SAIC – Chicago, IL.

Molly transferred to SAIC and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio, concentrated in Painting/Drawing & Sculpture. She was featured in SAIC's official Senior Student Undergraduate Exhibition(2023). Molly also exhibited her work in SAIC's virtual Artbash; the Open Call(2021) and her work was exclusively chosen for Black Box.
Molly double majored in New Genres & Painting, and showed her work in the most viewed exhibit on campus, the Diego Rivera Art Gallery. She sold work at SFAI's art fair, Concentrate, and independently curated an art exhibition, Exposure, featuring two other artists and sold work. Molly also participated in Artistic Messages, a screening presented by ZAZ 10(ZAZ10TS) in Times Square, NY.
